Schmidty was born from a journey of struggle, healing and rediscovery. I battled an eating disorder for seven years, admitted myself into a rehab clinic, faced extreme depression, anxiety and experienced like so many others the loneliness and isolation of Covid.

Recovery wasn’t quick or easy- but it taught me resilience, self-love, and the value of showing up for yourself.

As I healed, I found purpose in movement, connection, community and in the beauty of small moments. I joined various run clubs, watched and experienced it as a place where people could come together, feel seen and share the joy of simply moving forward. I began noticing the little things- the moments that make life feel rich and real, hence creation of Schmidty Co.

Now, I see life differently. I’m grateful, present and driven to capture the moments that truly matter- the ones that bring people together and make life feel full.

Through Schmidty, I capture and share those moments. It’s a space rooted in gratitude, connection, and the belief that the small things really are the big things. Schmidty is more than a brand. It’s a reminder that happiness is found in the simplest things- and that we all deserve to feel it.
